“I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as El Shaddai (God of the Mountains), but I did not make myself known to them by my name “YHWH”. Indeed, I established my berit with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as resident aliens.”

And you will yada that I, YHWH, am YOUR God, the one who yatzah you from under the labors of the Egyptians. I will bo’ you into the land that I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession. I am YHWH.”
