9 Exam schedule Students will sit an end-of-year mock exam in June/July 2016. Students will sit a mock in November 2016 and another mock at Easter 2017. Students will sit their real GCSE exams in May and June of 2017.

20 Preparing for Year 11 Students will need to read the following texts over the summer holiday: Romeo and Juliet- William Shakespeare An Inspector Calls- J. B. Priestley

21 Mocks and summer holiday work
If students achieve more than one grade below their expected grade in any mock examination they will be given a summer holiday homework pack (10 hours per subject) and will be asked to resit their mocks at the end of the summer holiday. Parents will be invited into school in September for a progress meeting - target setting and action plans
