Goals: TC with discussions Chapter conjoint meetings due to increase cooperation and future common projects Accomplished: Student Activities at the 19th Annual European Congress in Vienna, 29 October - 2 November, 2016, networking. Flyers prepared with highlights in Vienna Chapter conjoint meeting: Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University and University of Groningen Student Chapters on conducted meeting during conference “The Way Forward in Healthcare Economics: Public meets Private” in Groningen, Netherlands.

7 European (International) Meeting Planning Committee
19th Annual European Congress Stats: 381 Students Registered 291 Student Abstracts Events Held: Student Welcome Reception, Student Research Showcase, Student & Faculty Advisor Luncheon Int’l Meeting Planning Committee is writing up a review of the Congress for Student Corner in VOS.

10 Survey & Evaluation Committee Update
Project Objective Leads Status Internship Survey and Evaluation To identify and evaluate summer or short-term job experiences and keys to success Blythe (University of Washington) & Nina (Jefferson) Survey is live, posted on Facebook, and to be distributed to chapter presidents. Membership Benefits Survey (new) To quantify relative preferences for student membership benefits Ernest (UIC) & Cheng (UNM) Feedback received and reviewed from student chapter presidents (thank you!); developing experimental design Time Series Analysis of Student Interest Survey To describe change in student interests over time Nilesh (Mississippi) & Zoey (UNC) Only 2 years of individual response data available. Modifying plan to look at general trends over time. Student Interest Survey To continue annual survey and increase proportion of quantitative questions Elizabeth (Jefferson) Survey content is finalized. Next step to make survey monkey version. Plan to go live in January.

What we are continuously working on New Student Chapter Recruitment Initiative Total 53 universities – 393 students with contact information Reached out in October – 30 universities Contacting again after the first/second attempt (by mid-December) Try reaching university/department directly if we cannot reach out to students Match new joined chapters with current student chapters (Mentor/Mentee program)

Apply for Student Chapter Activity Grants before the end of 2016 or for an event in 2017.
