4 Agenda Walk in and get materials needed listed on the board
Place phone in bucket if you cant resist using it Sit at your OWN seat ( You are not allowed to sit at the same table with your friend) Complete the warm-up listed on the board in your sketchbook Listen for instructions for the day Work on assignments or project (Use your TIME wisely) Clean-up 5-10 minutes before bell rings Sit at seat until bell rings (DO NOT STAND AT THE DOOR! You will look like a herd of cattle)

7 Semester Outline Drawing Techniques using a pencil, eraser and blending stick Drawing Techniques using Colored Pencils Drawing Techniques using Pen and Ink Drawing Techniques using Charcoal and Pastel You will learn all of the elements and principles of design throughout the semester and become familiar with how they work together

8 Becoming an artist consists of learning to accept yourself which makes your work personal and following your own voice which makes your work distinctive. ART AND FEAR

9 Sketchbook You will be given a sketchbook.
Step One Step Two You will be given a sketchbook. Put your name on the your sketchbook Design your cover to your sketchbook. This is your sketchbook so make it personal While designing your cover you will be asked to pick a shelf to keep materials in for the semester
