8 Secure Browser Sample Test Login
Once the secure browser is available on the student devices, log in to the Sample Test to ensure the download was successful and the test is available and functioning on the device. 1. Launch Questar Secure Browser 2. Enter User ID: practice, Password: practice 3. Navigate through the sample test to ensure * Test loads at an acceptable speed * Items render correctly and can be answered (items/answers don’t bleed off the screen, etc.) * Available tools work appropriately * The test can be submitted upon completion via the Review screen

12 Schedule a Test Grade Band Each Domain Total Time K & 1 20-30 minutes
2 hours 2-3 20-60 minutes 2-3.5 hours 4-5 2-4 hours 6-12 20-90 minutes hours *K & 1 students’ assessment will be online; however, a portion of their writing will be paper-based. They will need to complete the online and the paper-based portions of their writing domain. *You can test different grade band together if necessary – but the directions for the different grade bands are a little different. *These times are approximate and do not include time for testing directions and breaks.

21 Break more than 20 minutes
Students must sign back in using their user IDs/passwords and submit the test once they are finished. The Pause button will display when the student hovers over Sign Out. If students pause the test for a break, the break must be less than 20 minutes. Any test that is paused longer than 20 minutes will require a Proctor Password to log back into the test. Contact your District Title III Director to obtain the Proctor Password.

22 Activities AFTER Test Administration
Ensure all EL students have submitted their tests Securely destroy all student credentials (labels) when ELPA21 testing is complete Complete WVS-326 forms Return the testing materials (3/29/2017)

Collect and inventory materials from each school Apply provided labels to boxes Ship to Questar by 3/29/2017
