1 Psychomotor Assessment
Aries, Dan, Justin, Christy, Isac

2 Goals We expect to learn about the skill-related physical fitness of various college-age individuals. The tests evaluate agility, balance, coordination, power, reaction time, speed. Tests: shuttle run, stork stand, body coordination test (lateral jumping), vertical jump, 30-meter sprint, and hand reaction time test,

3 Reliability, Validity, Objectivity
Reliable: The test was consistent since we performed it at one time with the same testers. Used the same equipment for each test. Valid: This is an integrated test that measures general physical fitness of individuals. Objective: The same student administered each tests. (i.e. Christy administered standing long jump only)

4 Choice of Subjects College students (20-23 years old)
We tested everyone in the group (5 people) plus 5 others. 8 males & 2 females

5 Assessment Tool Agility: 4x10m Shuttle Run Test
Balance: Stork Stand Test Coordination: Lateral Jumping Test Power: Vertical Jump Test Speed: 30-meterDash Reaction Time: Hand Reaction Time Test

6 Assessment Tool Things we needed: Cones Meter Stick Stopwatch
Measuring tape Chalk Tests were chosen to measure the general physical fitness of an individual without testing the ability of performing certain skills in a specific sport. Do not correlate with the sports of our subjects.

10 Evaluation and Interpretation
4x10m Shuttle Run Test Half of our subjects are classified as excellent The rest of them are on average or below average Stork Stand Test No one has a score of less than 10 seconds Nobody in this study has poor balance Big proportion of the subjects - mean or regular

11 Evaluation and Interpretation
Lateral Jumping Test No particular classification Most subjects accomplished the test within reps Best = 33 reps Vertical Jump Test 70% of the subjects, are in the range of average to above average The group is either on average or better than average in lower body’s power

12 Evaluation and Interpretation
30-meter Dash Test Only one person has an excellent result in this test 60% of the subjects, performed worse than average in this test while four of them did poorly Most of them are not very fast in short distance sprinting Hand Reaction Time Test t=sqrt(2d/g) All results were very close (0.11s) Range = From 0.14s to 0.25s

13 Application General physical tests
Implement more cardio and power exercises for better scores in sprinting and jumping Implement more plyometrics to increase jumping scores. All participants were pretty poor in this category.

14 Reflections The shuttle test could have been completed on the basketball court to give more consistent surface Doing the tests over a couple of days instead of in one day could help produce better results. Tough to determine when to stop the stopwatch for the standing stork test 30 meter dash was the easiest test to administer
