Experiential Learning Opportunities
The CSUN Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Clinic Students of all majors may receive course credit for serving as Tax Preparers or as Supervisors in the VITA Clinic The Bookstein Low Income Tax Clinic Senior accounting students may receive course credit for serving as a Tax Clinician in helping low income taxpayers resolve disputes with the IRS The Bookstein Community Outreach Clinic Senior accounting students may receive course credit for serving as a Tax Educator in facilitating workshops to low income taxpayers on various federal tax topics

Meet the Firms: Every semester we have a job fair just for our department with over 60 employers looking to hire our grads! Spring Awards Banquet: Each spring our department gives out nearly 100 scholarships and awards to our students sponsored by firms, organizations, and individuals who believe strongly in our programs. The average award is $1,000!
