3. Reminders and Deadlines
Application due 11:59pm EST January 16th, 2017
Only applications submitted through CCIP will be reviewed (no paper copies)
The Application Planning Worksheet is to be used only as an aid; this is NOT what you will be submitting!
Allow plenty of time to enter data in CCIP – absolutely no exceptions after the due date
Once submitted to NC DPI, cannot submit additional information

Accessing CCIP
Today we are using the Training database
What happens in Training, stays in Training
cciptest.schools.nc.gov/training
To start application process in Production (not Training)
You must have a valid NCID user account
You must have an account set up in CCIP
Once accessed, create a bookmark for the NCCCIP application

Requested ID (you get to choose your ID)
First and Last Name
Address
Phone Number
Street Address (City, State and Zip)
Password (minimum 8 characters, rules on page)

After verification, go back onto the NCID site and choose your password reset questions and responses
If you forget your password or get locked out, DPI cannot help you with NCID issues

24-48 hours after sending your information on the CCIP Access Request Form, you will have access to the production system
The new user will NOT receive a confirmation once their information has been added to CCIP – just keep checking on

CCIP Roles
Role Name
Description
Data Entry
Allows the user to edit the Funding Application for an organization.
Planning Tool Data Entry
Allows the user to edit the Active Plan for an organization. Required to enter data in the Planning Tool (Goals, Strategies, etc.)
Fiscal Representative
Allows the user to mark an application ‘Fiscal Representative Approved’. This role inherits all permissions from the Data Entry role.
Chief Administrator
Allows the user to mark an application ‘Chief Administrator Approved’. This role inherits all permissions from the Data Entry role.
A person can have more than one role
A role can have more than one person assigned to it
Note: LEA issues will be addressed at the end of the Training day
