5. What is Marriage
There are many institutions in the world today such as
schools, the government, community and marriage is the oldest and most important of the all
Marriage is a lifetime union ordained by God to brings a woman and a man together to build a family. This is why the Bible commands that the man and woman be joined together until death do them part.
God in His immeasurable wisdom instituted marriage in order to
sustain the human race.
Because Marriage is very important to God, the Bible compares it with the relationship between Christ and His church.
For marriage to meet God’s standard, children have to fulfil their role.
God plan is for children grow, get married and continue to be fruitful and multiply.

6. God’s Plan and Purpose for Marriage
God’s Plan for Marriage
God’s plan is that a man and a woman coming together as husbands and wife to become one. They are united both Physically and Spiritually.
Marriage is NOT for children or between a child and an adult. Neither is it between a man and a man or a woman and a woman. It is ordained to be between a mature male and female.
Anything outside God’s plan is an ABOMINATION

7. God’s Pan and Purpose for
Marriage
Partnership: It is not good that man should live alone. Through the marriage relationship, everybody in the family enjoys fellowship and friendship with one another in sorrow, sickness, health and joy.
Procreation: (Bearing of children). Through marriage, children are born, nourished physically and spiritually, trained up to become good citizens and for a good future to increase mankind
Protection: Family members are protected in the
union of a God-ordained marriage, as they stand together against Satan the enemy
Provision: Through marriage, there is provision of
daily needs of the family members such as food,
clothes, shelter and other essential things.
Purity: God’s nature of holiness is revealed and
encouraged in the union of marriage. Friends of Jesus
must reject all forms of ungodly relationship and please God at all times.

8. Rules for Christian Marriage
> The first ingredient in a Christian family is love.
H Husbands are commanded to love their wives. Both
o them will love one another and their children also. In
turn the children must love and obey their parents.
>Where there is love, there will be unity.

9. BELIEVERS’ MARRIAGE TO CHRIST
Believers are described as the bride of the Lord Jesus Christ who is their bridegroom.
Jesus suffered, died on the cross and shed His blood to save all who would believe in Him. Jesus loves and care for His own. He has gone to heaven and He promised that He is coming back again.
When Christ comes He will receive all His friends as brides into His kingdom.
Believers who endure and remain faithful to the end will be partakers of the great event called the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The antichrist would torment those who did not go in the rapture while true friends of Jesus who were raptured will be celebrating the Marriage Supper of The Lamb with Christ.
Our Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, shall wipe away all the tears of suffering during our pilgrim journey on earth. We shall be clothed in fine linen, clean and white. Then we shall receive the reward for our labour.

A Christian marriage should bring forth godly children and also bear the fruits of the Spirit as mentioned in Galatians 5:22,23.
As a member of the family, you
must be obedient to the rules so that your family will be what God has designed it to be.
