There is no cluster to eat of the first-ripe fruit which my soul desires. 2 The faithful man has perished from the earth And There is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood. Every man hunts his brother with a net. NKJV

23 WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO EPHRAIM? WHY? WHAT ABOUT THIS ‘FIRST FRUIT’?
QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 28:3-4 3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, Will be trampled underfoot; 4 And the glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valley, Like the first fruit before the summer, Which an observer sees; He eats it up while it is still in his hand. And the other basket had very bad figs which could not be eaten, they were so bad. 3 The LORD said to me, “What do you see, Jeremiah?” I said, “Figs, the good figs, very good. and the bad, very bad, which cannot be eaten, they are so bad.”

I will build them and not pull them down. And I will plant them and not pluck them up.” 7 “I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the LORD. They shall be My people and I will be their God. For They shall return to Me with their whole heart.” 8 “As the bad figs which cannot be eaten, they are so bad,” Surely, thus says the LORD, ‘So I will give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, his princes, the residue of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt.” 9 “I will deliver them to trouble into all the kingdoms of the earth, for their harm, to be a reproach and a byword, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.” 10 “I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence among them, till they are consumed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.”

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 28:16-17 WHO IS THE WISE MASTER BUILDER? WHAT FOUNDATION WAS LAID? HOW DOES ONE BUILD ON THIS FOUNDATION? READ: 1 CORINTHIANS 3:9-15 9 We are God's fellow workers. And You are God's field. You are God's building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 Each one's work will become clear. For the Day will declare it, Because it will be revealed by fire. And the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
