Cognate – a word that sounds/looks like what it means in English
Most times words AREN’T cognates, but you could create a way to remember them, even if they are silly
Ex: Igualmente – Igual looks like equal – when you are equal you are like someone – igualmente means likewise
Get creative! It could look or sound or make a connection to what the words mean.

Goal: Incorporate as many words/phrases into your drawing/comic in order to help relate pictures with words
