2 Introduction The Accreditation Committee needs evidence to show compliance or non- compliance with each Standard. The AC encounters problems when a report does not have the relevant facts or finds a fact that raises compliance issues. If the Self-Study fails to provide correct information, the report will possibly reflect the problem

3 Diversity [Standard 206] Provide information regarding the efforts the law school makes that demonstrate its commitment to having a diverse faculty (include adjuncts), staff and student body. This Standard requires concrete actions to be taken If not hiring, still describe process that will be utilized when hiring is done

4 Bar Passage and Academic Support [Standards 301, 309, 316, and 501]
If a law school has a low or declining first time bar passage rate, even if it complies with 316, provide detailed and specific information regarding academic support efforts (including bar preparation programs), monitoring and assessment of those efforts, attrition, assessment of admissions criteria, curricular changes/requirements to address the issue, etc. In any event, in all cases, provide details regarding academic support programs and any evaluation of their effectiveness.

6 Standard 310 See guidance memorandum
One hour of classroom or direct faculty instruction and two hours of out-of- class student work per week for fifteen weeks, or the equivalent amount of work over a different amount of time Fifty minutes suffices for one hour of classroom instruction; 60 minutes for out- of-class work

7 Legal Writing [Standard 303(a)(2), Interpretation 303-2]
Standard requires that each student receive “one writing experience in the first year and at lease one additional writing experience after the first year, both of which are faculty supervised;. . .” The Interpretation provides the factors to be considered in evaluating “rigor.”

8 Character and Fitness [Standard 504]
How does the law school advise “each applicant” that there are character and fitness requirements for admission to practice and encourage applicants to determine those requirements in the jurisdiction(s) in which they intend to practice “as soon after matriculation as is practicable”? Statement required by 504(a) must be on application and website, using exact language of Standard

9 Required Disclosures [Standard 509]
All required disclosures in form prescribed by guidance memorandum, along with working links Provide confirmation that the required conditional scholarship information is provided to all applicants at the time the scholarship offer is extended.

10 Student Complaints [Standard 510]
Information that there is a policy/process is insufficient. Provide details that confirm the policy is published and where, that records are maintained for the accreditation period, and that the policies address the required elements.

11 Law Library Director [Standard 603(d), Interpretation 603-3]
If the library director is not a tenured member of the law faculty, provide information regarding his/her status and security of position, including terms of employment and whether the status he/she holds is a law faculty appointment.

12 Employment Data Council in June 2017, amended reporting requirements
