5 The setup at UGM 1 SKS (Sistim Kredit Semester) corresponds roughly to 2,0 EC ACICIS students take SKS worth of courses INCULS = Indonesian Language and Culture Learning Service Immersion Subjects = any subjects from standard UGM student programmes in any faculty (unless special conditions apply)

6 Recommended programme
INCULS Indonesian language (advanced): Membaca (2 sks) INCULS Indonesian language (advanced): Menulis (2 sks) INCULS Indonesian language (advanced): Percakapan (2 sks) Three other 'immersion subjects' of 2 or 3 sks each. Highly recommended is 'Bahasa Jawa I untuk mahasiswa asing' (2 sks). Up to 7 sks may consist of courses taught in English.

8 Money (1) Your scholarship will be € 1,200. This is a 'sustainable humanities scholarship' (further details: You will receive two scholarship forms by in June 2017, and the scholarship itself in July On the forms you will have to fill in your bank details, emergency contact information, and confirmation that you have understood the terms of the scholarship. All study-related costs will be covered by Leiden University. You will not have to pay anything yourself in relation to tuition or administration. You do however have to pay for: insurance (and you must arrange this yourself too); initial Indonesian entry visa, costing around € 110 The visa application on the other hand is part of the ACICIS application procedure. In very exceptional circumstances the amount of the scholarship can be raised (see following slide).
