TrackSchoolBus.com is web version enterprise edition software which will be configured to meet the requirements of school transport system to manage their total institution transport management.
The solution will enable to maintain a uniform system enabling real time updates to the management, employees and parents. A uniform reporting system would help the management to monitor, improvise services and get alerts where attention is requirement with much comfort and efficiency.

the hardware
We use the best in class GPS tracking hardware which enables us to track the vehicle’s accurately and give us the real time vehicle information like the current location, speed of the vehicle, vehicle halt duration etc.
The hardware/ GPS tracking device is connected to the vehicles battery to derive its working power and to the ignition system to change the state of the device as Parked or Running.
The tracking device is also connected to the MIFARE card reader which allows the system to mark students attendance while getting in and out of the bus.

Once the hardware and software configuration is done according to the requirement the system is all set up.
Each hardware installed will need a active sim card with a active data plan of minimum 200MB.
The institute/school needs a server to maintain the records/data related to the system.
The institutes office premises needs a active internet connection to enable the school authorities keep track of the vehicles and monitor them.
ERP system integration : The system provides specific API’s to integrate the institutes existing ERP system with Track School Bus.
(the institute will have to in-cure extra cost to integrate ERP)

10. Before using the application the Transport manager will need to enter the student, driver and helper details into the system.
For this purpose the transport manager could just select a excel sheet and upload it into the system or he/she can manually enter the data into the system through the website. The excel import feature is available only for major modules.
(note the excel sheet needs to be in a format specified by the system)
Each driver and helper must have a basic Android phone with an active sim card and a data plan.
The parents can use a Android or a iOS smartphone to access the Parent App.
The institute needs to assign a separate/dedicated fleet manager to monitor the vehicles and to ensure the prompt working of the system.
The post installation support of the hardware and the software will be provided by Track School Bus team on argeed terms and conditions.
