It has never been more important to not just get off to a flying start!

Most subjects will be graded on a scale of 1-9. (9 is highest grade)
Business, Media, Classics, Product design and Electronics will continue using G – A*
At the end of Y11 students will have a mixture of grades and numbers.

Some subjects will have Controlled Assessments which have replaced Coursework.
Students will need to complete these in school.
Tasks will be frequently changed.
Teachers will still mark the work.
CA can take place throughout the course.

9. Ebacc and Progress 8?
These are ways that the Government is now comparing schools
Ebacc –English, Maths, 2x science, language and either Geog or History
