3 Insurance Benefits Who is eligible and when?
Is there a waiting period? Are dependents eligible? When is open enrollment? What are the costs to you? Do you have to pay anything? How much and when? Do dependents cost anything?

How much is guaranteed? Maximum coverage Disability Insurance What is the coverage? Short term and long term? Other supplemental Insurance Cancer, Accident, etc. (AFLAC) - Life Insurance – Life ONLY or Life/AD&D – can be two possible options that may be provided - Disability Insurance – Why is this important? This provides wage assistance/supplemental income. This can assist in if there is long-term disability you can still maintain your benefits, that applies to TSC’s plan. *Make sure you know what your employer provides. - Supplemental Insurance – Does your employer provide additional supplemental insurance? There may be some companies that pay for these benefits but should you choose to purchase them yourself, make sure you verify with your employer what they offer first.

Annual Leave, Sick Leave or just PTO Bereavement Leave For who and how long? Observed Holidays How many? Personal Leave FMLA/Parenting Leave FMLA – this is offered by all employers and consists of 12-weeks of unpaid leave. Many companies offer some form of paid parenting leave as well.
