2 Voter Eligibility in Ohio
You are a citizen of the United States… *** You will be at least 18 years old on or before the day of the next general election (Nov. 8, 2012)… You will be a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days immediately before the election in which you want to vote… (changes throughout the country) You are not incarcerated for a felony conviction under the laws of this state, another state, or the United States… You have not been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court… You have not been permanently disenfranchised for violating the election laws. (voter fraud) Voter registration requirements for the state of Ohio

6 Voter Identification Law (March 2011)
All voters must now show ID at the polls before they are allowed to vote a regular ballot. Acceptable forms of ID: A current and valid photo ID with correct address... …or a State issued Photo ID with a former address AND the last four digits of the driver’s license OR state identification number… A military ID… A copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check or other government document showing the voter’s name and current address.

9 Seventeen Year-old Voters
Individuals who will be eighteen before November 8, 2012, are eligible to vote on candidates to be nominated to the general election ballot during the primary election to be held on March 6, 2012. Seventeen year-olds are NOT eligible to vote on issues appearing on the primary ballot!  Seventeen year old voters will be required to show the same ID as other voters when they appear to vote. 

10 All voters will receive a post card from the Board of Elections letting them know their precinct number and the address of their polling location!
