5. Mission. Offer a suite of research computing services, to be leveraged by researchers to help advance science, and to increase student learning outcomes and opportunities.
HPC farm, computational storage, science network, IOT support, data visualization, cyber-infrastructure (CI) utilities, computational informatics, HPC training and instruction.
Approach.
Local cyber-infrastructure investments will compliment external resources.
Heavy leverage of UTD grad students, and the strength of the DFW.
Governance committee (RCGC) determines HPC sustainability and resource brokering models.
Federated support model.
Funding. No UTD $$ outside OIT and private users have been committed to this effort thus far…
