2. Coach Calvin
My name is Angela Calvin and this is my first year at PHS! I am one of the math teachers in the best math department that the state of Texas has to offer! I grew up in Shreveport and in my sophomore year of high school, I moved to Denver Colorado where I spent the next 20 years of my life.! I have a Bachelors degree in math, and a masters in Special Education and in Curriculum and Instruction! I have numerous years of cheer experience as a cheerleader, I was a dancer for Caddo Cuties, and I was a gymnast for several years as well.

3. Brooke Spencer – Head Cheerleader
My name is Brooke Spencer and next year I will be a senior. I moved from Dallas to Paris in the 8th grade. I’ve cheered in 6th and 7th grade and started again my junior year. I love cheer with a passion. Cheering helps get every stressful thing that’s happening off my mind. I’m also a singer, artist, and a princess in the Althea Garden Club. I’m secretary of my junior class and hope to run again. I have two jobs, I babysit and sing at church on Sundays. I am a part of the Youth Building Committee, Youth Lead Team, Key Club, and Althea Garden Club. I also help at my church with confirmation. I’m very interested in retail and fashion management as well as psychology and neonatal nursing. I also have an interest in fashion, makeup, and anything girly. My favorite places to go in Paris are Paris Coffee, Catfish King, Don Lalos, Anytime Fitness, and Adenann’s. My favorite music artists are Drake, Little Mix, and Meghan Trainor. My favorite drink is coffee and my favorite food is a cannoli. My favorite things to do are to hang out with friends, go hunting with my brother, go shopping, cheer, and sing. I also love Whataburger cinnamon rolls, puppies, Pretty Little Liars, and exterior and interior design. I have two siblings, both older. My brother is my best friend and I hope to pursue an athletic scholarship like he received. My goals include graduating high school in the top 20 percentile and going to a college where I will pursue my dream career.

4. Anna Perez – Co-Head Cheerleader
My name is Anna, I am going to be a Senior this year. I am a 7 year veteran in cheerleading. My favorite sport and passion is Powerlifting.I have gone to regionals and plan to go to state. I work at Dairy Queen and believed to be one of the top workers there. I am a experience in basing and flying in stunts. I love animals with a passion. I absolutely love to learn new things everyday. I love to help others in every way possible that I can. My favorite colors are purple and green. I have always been under 5’ foot and still am but that’s okay. I am a very active person. I am involved in different clubs for example, I am apart of the Key Club, Crime Stoppers, and Volunteer work. I also like to tumble. I currently have a running round-off back handspring and looking forward to get more. I want to pursue a career in physical therapy and also become a physical trainer. I plan to take everything I have learned and gained from cheerleading forward on in my life.

5. Madison Toland
Hi I'm Madison Toland. I participated in school Cheer my 7 & 8 th grade year. I returned to school cheer for 10th grade,  I did competition cheer My Freshmen and Sophomore year, also enjoy assisting the Pink STARS. I have been tumbling for almost 2 years and my current goal is a RO BHS BT. I started running CC and Track my freshmen year and quickly fell in love with it.  The 1600m & 3200m are my favorite races in track. I have a goal to run 1,000 miles this year.  I enjoy spending my Sundays at United Penatacostal and being involved. In my off time I like to sleep and spend time with my pets. 3 dogs and 4 cats 😁. My goal this year is to finally run the half marathon I have been training for. Fun Fact : I had two aortas until I was 2!

6. Chyna Bell
My name is Chyna Bell, I’m 17 years old, I’ve been in cheerleading for 6 years. I was captain of the cheer team my 8th grade year at Paris Junior High. I’ve been a flyer since Junior High, and then became the main flyer when I made it to High School. My favorite sports are Cheer, Track, and Volleyball. I’ve been running track for 6 years, running the 4x1, 4x2, and the 100. I made Varsity coming in High school my freshman year. I have been playing volleyball from the 3rd grade for the Paris Spikers until my sophomore year to stay more focused on Cheerleading. I was drawn into Cheer my 8th grade year when little girls would always come up to me and say that I inspired them and that they  wanted to be just like me when they grow up. From that point on, day by day , I was determined to make it my priority to be successful and better than I was before, and  to make every little girl's dreams come true. My personality is being well organized, extroverted, intelligent, charismatic, facetious, impulsive, industrious, and upbeat. After High School I plan to attend college at the University of Commerce to go into the medical field to become a Nurse Practitioner.

7. Lilly Lewis
I am a class of 2018 senior at Paris High School. My participation in Cheer with Paris ISD began in the seventh grade, but my love for cheerleading can be traced back to my days as a “Bleacher Creature” in elementary school. I have had many leadership experiences throughout my high school years including: Student Council, National Honor society, RYLA, and JV cheer captain. I enjoy running and acting. I also love capturing and documenting high school memories, and will be one of the editors-in-chief for the 2018 “Owl” yearbook. My personality is very outgoing, which influences my love for cheerleading. I’m very thankful for the lifelong bonds, skills, and memories I have gained through the sport. ​

8. Shiya Robinson
I’m Shiya Robinson. I’m going to be 16 and I’ve been apart of the Paris cheer program for 2, going on 3 years. Before cheer, I played volleyball and basketball since I was 9 years old. I dropped those sports because cheer became my passion. Outside of school and cheer, I dance. Dancing is mainly one of the reasons I started cheer. It allowed me to do two things I love at once and I’m thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to do both. Some would say I have a big personality which is true. I’m very friendly and love meeting new people. Making the cheer team is important to me because it’s my passion. Cheering has allowed me to put smiles on people’s faces and bring joy to them.

9. Amia Jeffrey
My name is Amia Jeffrey. I am seventeen years old and currently a junior at Paris High School. I'm the daughter of Yolanda and Jermaine Jeffrey. I've been a cheerleader for the Paris Wildcats since the seventh grade and I would love to continue cheering on varsity my senior year. When I graduate from high school I plan on going to college to be a social worker so that I can work with children. I am very excited to see new and familiar faces on the team and most importantly I'm am excited to cheer on the wildcats!

10. Alexis Muse
My name is Alexis Muse, I am 16 years old and I am the youngest of five children with 2 girls and 3 boys. I am currently a junior in high school.  My favorite sports are softball, basketball, and obviously cheer. I have been cheering since the 3rd grade I have been playing softball for 3 years, and I played basketball for 2 years. I also have a history of dance for a year and a half. As a hobby I play piano, in fact I take lessons to play professionally. I love to dance, and I also love to teach dances. I am very outgoing, understanding, affectionate, and independent. I enjoy being with my cheer sisters, and enjoy cheering with them. I love animals with a passion, and I love to hang with friends although my favorite thing to do in my spare time is sleep lol. I plan to graduate high school, and attend Southern University to major in psychology after high school. I am really looking forward to becoming your cheerleader, because I believe in Unity and love within the cheer team. By being on this cheer team I hope to inspire others and make them see me, not only as a cheerleader, but as a role model.

11. Akeirria Garvin
Hi, my name is Akeirria Garvin and I am 16 years old. I am an incoming Junior and I have been cheering for 4 years. I was a captain the previous Cheer season and I really enjoy the sport. I am also apart of the Paris High Varsity Softball Team. Cheer is a very important part of my life and I hope to continue to spread spirit through Cheer throughout my high school career.

12. Lexi Hines
Sydney Alexis Hines, better known as “Lexi,” the daughter of Sydney and Simone Hines, is an incoming sophomore at Paris High School. She has been a Wildcat Cheerleader since the seventh grade which she holds as a very high standard. One quote that she holds dear to heart is “Cheerleading is a display of discipline, practice, dedication, determination, skill, and athleticism.” She has enjoyed cheering over the past three years. At the age of three years old, she started her gymnastics journey at Power House Gymnastics which included strenuous workouts, competitive gymnastics, and attending Bela Karolyi’s Olympic Training Camp annually. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends and shopping. The source of her determination to excel as a cheerleader is expressed in these words: “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future,” Jeremiah 29:11.

13. Atajeni Barry
My name is Atajeni Barry but people call me Taj or Tots . I am seventeen years old, this incoming school year I will be a senior. I have been a student of Paris ISD all of my life. I love to laugh, eat, smile, and dance around. Being uplifted is always the way to go. I am very blessed for everything I receive and every opportunity that comes my way. Creating crafts is a hobby of mine. I love fashion, coming up with cute ideas is lots fun for me! My favorite season is fall due to the weather, colors, and atmosphere it gives off. I hope to have a fun filled yet busy senior year. My personality is very nonchalant but bubbly and goofy. I like to surround myself with positive vibes. My favorite color is blue. I LOVE sweets, I have a huge sweet tooth for anything

14. Madisyn Bolton
I am Madisyn Bolton and I will be a junior for the school year.  I have attended Paris ISD since first grade and have been involved in Paris cheer for three years.  I love being a Paris Wildcat and especially love being a wildcat cheerleader!  I have been a member of band, Blue Tube, CATv, PHS golf, PJH basketball, National Junior Honor Society, sister to sister, and I’m currently on the PHS yearbook staff.  I try my best to promote positivity and represent Paris ISD in the best way possible.  I maintain an A average and I’m currently ranked in the top 10% of my class.  I attend a variety of sporting events, drama productions, and other school activities to support my fellow wildcats.  I think PHS is the best and I’m honored to represent such an amazing school!  Go CATS!

15. Erika Palomares
My name is Erika Palomares, I'm going to be a junior in school year. I have been cheering since 7th grade.  I love music, watching tv, and cheering. I am 16 years old. I love traveling, exploring and trying new things. I have learned so many things from cheer. I was a cheer captain for the school year. In the school year, I was a stunt base. Currently, I am improving my back bend walkover. I've been a Althea Garden Club Officer for one year. Althea Garden Club Princess for one year as well and two years in the club. 

16. Alyssa Tacuyan
My name is Alyssa Tacuyan. I've been a part of the Paris cheer program for 3 years and going on 4 years now. I have been a flyer for the cheer program for 2 years. I am going to be a junior for the school year. At cheer camp the past two summers, I've been nominated twice for All American Cheer with NCA. I enjoy doing cheer because I like pepping up the crowd for school spirit. 

17. Meghan Lamberson
My name is Meghan Lamberson and I am 17 years old. I have been a Wildcat since the first grade, and a Paris cheerleader since the seventh. I am an incoming senior this year! I did competitive cheer right here in Paris in 2009/2010 and 2010/2011. I continued in Mt. Pleasant, Texas for two more years, and then followed my head coach at that gym, all the way to Dallas during the rest of my middle school years. Apart from cheer, I am in yearbook and also participate in journalistic style writing for UIL. I have a passion for traveling and will hopefully one day be able to see more of the world. I am planning to attend Texas A&M University in College Station and major in biomedical sciences. I am in the Spanish National Honor Society, as well as the National Honor Society. I have a lot of motivation to maintain good grades, engage in many extracurricular activities, and try to improve myself every day.

18. Rileigh Wright - Mascot
I am Rileigh Wright. I was born and bred to be a Paris Wildcat with my mom and dad being Paris Wildcat graduates. Being a Wildcat is so important to me that I’m a Wildcat by choice as I actually live in a different school district. My first experience with being the school’s mascot began in 7th grade when anyone who wanted to be a cheerleader or mascot could.  We had to take turns being the mascot but people found out real quickly that the suit was hot and smelly.  I loved being the mascot because I could be my true self without judgment.  I love interacting with the Wildcat fans, especially little children. When 8th grade cheer/mascot tryouts happened, I actually tried out for both cheer and mascot and made both but chose the mascot over cheerleader.  There I have stayed every year since – 6 years total at being a Paris Wildcat Mascot. Being Willie Wildcat is my calling and what I love about Paris High School.  I hope to provide school spirit and support to the cheerleading squad and go out with a GROWL my Senior year.
