4 SCHEDULING FOR THE 9TH GRADE YEAR
March – Scheduling of courses through the Social Studies classes Students will be instructed in the use of the Skyward Student Access Portal for Course Selection Students make requests for courses in Skyward Student Access. Students will take materials home and work with their parents on course selection online.

5 SCHEDULING Your current classroom teachers will be making recommendations in English, Math, Social Studies, and Science. You will be taking tests for placement in upper level Math and Science. You will not be allowed to “self select” for these 4 academic areas or for PE. Students may change their elective choices up until May 1. Access to the Student Portal will be closed on April 1 so any changes after April 1 will need to be made by ing Mrs. Moffett If you sign up and pay for summer PE, you may request that alternate electives be placed in the schedule.

6 SCHEDULING Remember these are requests and don’t represent your actual schedule. Students are asked to put Alternate Requests in Skyward in case of conflict, full classes, or summer PE. If all goes as planned, we hope to have schedules by the end of the school year. ***The letter students bring home after scheduling needs to be returned to CMS Guidance by April 3 with a parent signature.
