Your health and well-change in your diet can help to strengthen your resistance to many illnesses. You are what you eat and the food you eat effects the way you feel.

Rules 1. Follow a healthy balanced diet.
2. Limit the amount of sugar , salt and fat. 3. Get sufficient exercise to keep a strong body. 4. Give enough rest so the body may continue doing it’s work well. 5. Plan regular visits to your doctor and dentist.

A poor diet. No exercises. Little rest. Smoking. Using drugs. Drinking alcohol.

Read the text The vitamin are named by letters of the alphabet.
Vitamin A is needed for the eyes. There is vitamin A in milk , butter and green vegetables. It can be stored by the body. Vitamin B cannot be stored . It must be supplied all the time by some of the food we eat. The skins of grain of all sorts have vitamin B in them. Vitamin C is very important to the body . Without it men’s teeth become loose and their arms and legs weak . Lemons , oranges and tomatoes have vitamin C in them. Vitamin D is the sun vitamin . We get it in milk and eggs and from sunlight on our skin . There are other vitamins, but these A,B,C,D are the most important .

Vegetable salad Ingredients : 300gr frozen mixed vegetables 400gr of beans ½ cup of chopped celery ½ cup of chopped onion ½ cup of chopped green pepper ½ cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 2 tablespoon of vinegar Directions : 1.Cook the mixed vegetables on the stove until crisp-tender. 2.Add beans, celery, onion and pepper. 3. heat sugar, vinegar, cornstarch in a saucepan , until thickened cool slightly . Pour vegetables and toss. 4.Enjoy your salad.
