2 Religions A-Z You and your group need to come up with a word or phrase associated with each of the 5 major world religions to fit the letters of the alphabet Your group may eliminate 6 letters from the alphabet Your word should start with the letter, however a couple of your words may just have the letter in it. (max 5 per religion) If the word doesn’t start with the letter, you must underline the letter in the word You may only use each word once You must know how each word relates to the religion. I will be asking you about your words. Your Religions A-Z MUST be color coded You may use you HW sheets and a book. This assignment will be graded on effort and by the degree of completion. The team that finishes 1st gets 5 points EC, 2nd place gets 3 points, 3rd place gets 2 points. If you finish you will receive 1 point EC. Karma- the total of good and bad actions a human soul carries with them from life to life. Positive karma moves you up the caste Reincarnation- People are reincarnated until they reach the top caste and then they are released to Moksha or heaven

31 4th Nobel Truth The way to overcome such desires and attain enlightenment is to follow the Nobel Eightfold Path, which is called the Middle Way between desires and self denial. Following this path could lead you to Nirvana, release from selfishness and pain. The 8 Fold path is made up of the following: Right Views Right Aspirations Right Speech Right Conduct Right Livelihood Right Endeavor Right Mindfulness Right Meditation
