2 What is ISMA? ISMA is the world’s premier association of senior security executives. ISMA members not only set the standard for excellence in corporate security, they also form a trusted network for resource sharing, and have become a powerful voice in managing global threats and ensuring corporate resilience. No other organization offers as much in-depth experience in managing security.

3 ISMA’s Mission ISMA is an international leadership forum for member security executives whose expertise is used to develop, organize, and share knowledge that will enhance security professionalism and add value to member organizations.

6 Membership Qualifications
One member per company Individual must be the most senior security executive in an organization with revenue in excess of $1 billion per annum OR the chief executive officer (or designee) of a security services company with revenue in excess of $100 million per annum. Individual must have a college degree or equivalent years of experience in the security industry. Individual must have three ISMA member sponsors.

Sustain effective governance of ISMA enabling support to, and leveraging the security expertise from our membership. (Governance) Focus on the lifecycle of the member, including globalization of recruitment efforts, member engagement, board recruitment, and lifetime member engagement. (Membership) Enhance a development strategy, focused on thought leadership in business acumen, partnership, innovation, and process improvements to better enable our members to serve their companies. (Expertise) Exploit/leverage technology to position ISMA as a global leader and maintain its relevancy among members and the business community. (Technology) Ensure transparency with Membership through reporting of key metrics, program updates and accomplishments on a periodic basis, and develop a procedure to solicit feedback on these activities from the membership.
