4 Academic requirements
Higher Education Entrance Qualification (General requirements) - Completed secondary education - At least 1 (or 2 years for some countries) of university education - Proficiency test in Norwegian and English

5 If you do not have one year of university education
If you successfully have completed upper secondary education but not completed 1 year of university education in your home country, you must pass the following subjects in Norwegian upper secondary school: Norwegian (393 hours, third level) English (140 hours) Mathematics (224 hours) Natural science (140 hours) History (140 hours) Social Science (84 hours)

6 Norwegian language requirement
Applies to all study programmes taught in Norwegian If you fullfill all the entrance requirements except Norwegian language, you can choose one of the following tests: Norwegian (393 hrs, third-year level) from Norwegian upper secondary school Test of Norwegian – advanced level, written test («Test i norsk – høyere nivå, skriftlig») Norwegian for International Students, Level 3 at Norwegian universities (Trinn 3) A minimum of 60 Norwegian university credits/ECTS in Norwegian language and social science for international students («Norwegian Language and Society») Norwegian Language test for adult immigrants, with the result B2 in all three disiplines.

7 English language requirements
Applies to all study programmes at bachelor’s level You can meet the English language requirement by completing one of the following tests: English (140 hours) from Norwegian upper secondary school TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) IELTS (International English Language Testing Service), academic test Cambrigde ESOL Examinations: - First Certificate in English - Certificate in Advanced English - Certificate of Proficiency in English Higher test scores are required for master programmes

10 The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (NUCAS)
The Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (NUCAS) coordinates the admission to ordinary undergraduate study programmes at all universities, university colleges, and some private university colleges in Norway. Applicants have to meet the general admission requirements and document proficiency in the Norwegian language in order to be eligible for admission. Applicants can find information on general requirements on the GSU-list

Identification (passport or refugee travel document) Proof of name change Copy of a translation and the original final certificate from secondary school and the transcripts. Documentation from higher education, both a translation to English and a copy in the original language English proficiency

13 Applicant from Ethiopia who wants to apply for a master of science in Business
Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Qualification Certificate (EHEEQC) + 1 year university education OR University Entrance Examination Certificate (UEEC) + 1 year university education OR Ethiopian School Leaving Certificate (ESLC) + 1 year university education. EHEEQC/UEEC with passes in at least 4 subjects. ESLC with passes in at least 5 subjects including mathematic and English. English test required? Yes 2) Applicants who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the home country with English as the language of instruction are exempted from the English test. Bachelor's degree or equivalent three/four years of financial and administrative studies. The following requirements for the combination of subjects applies: A total of 90 credits comprising: a minimum of 30 credits of business: management accounting, financial accounting, finance and investment a minimum of 25 credits administration subjects: organization, marketing, strategy and management a minimum of credits economics: microeconomics, macroeconomics, public finance a minimum of credits methodology: mathematics, statistics, scientific method Admission requires a good result (laudabilis), ie an average grade of minimum C in the admission basis. For international students minimum 2nd Class, Upper Division/B or equivivalent is required.
