1 Creating New Role in Sage Exchange

2 With Sage Exchange, the user can easily access several products and features. And when we talk about Role in Sage, it is a set of predefined permissions which can be assigned to multiple users in Sage Exchange. So, every user should be assigned to a Role.

3 Follow the instructions for creating a Role in the accounting software:  Tap on the Administration tab, then select Roles. From there click on Add New role button.  Now enter a Rome Name. This name will be displayed as an identifier when it is assigned to the user.   By clicking on the Access checkboxes you give permissions to the Role. 4 a. Main Features: Each of them should have access to at least one of the following: Administration, Dashboard, Reports, Connections and Products. b. Merchant Accounts: These permissions let the user to have a control to particular merchant accounts in Connections, Dashboard, Reporting as well as to the payment processing mini-apps. c. Terminals: This allows the user assigned to this to have the facility to see transaction details in respective to their Merchant Accounts Permissions. For checking the Transaction detail in Sage, user’s designated Role should have access to one Merchant account as well as one Terminal at least to the Merchant Account. a. Main Features: Each of them should have access to at least one of the following: Administration, Dashboard, Reports, Connections and Products. b. Merchant Accounts: These permissions let the user to have a control to particular merchant accounts in Connections, Dashboard, Reporting as well as to the payment processing mini-apps. c. Terminals: This allows the user assigned to this to have the facility to see transaction details in respective to their Merchant Accounts Permissions. For checking the Transaction detail in Sage, user’s designated Role should have access to one Merchant account as well as one Terminal at least to the Merchant Account.

5 d. Products: Users assigned to it has the capability of adding the additional services to their account which might also involve additional costs. e. Virtual Terminal: It allows users to access multiple payment processing mini- apps available in sage Exchange. f. Tap on Save button. d.
