1 Is motivation a foreign language or an instrument to attain goals, position and status? I think one of the most important motivations that students nowadays may have when studying a foreign language is to achieve higher status and position. It is clear that we now live in a globalized world where English is the language that ranks first in terms of expansion of use refers, being a global communications vehicle, for example, English is the language most widely used in Europe. Today, there are many causes and many different reasons why English has become an international language, in fact, its knowledge is almost a prerequisite for professional success. English has also become an essential language for scientific communication and business. We can not forget besides that English is often the only tool available to access the world of knowledge and research. Moreover, in recent years, the emergence of the Internet has helped to reinforce this domain panorama of English language. For these reasons, it is logical to think that one of the motivations that the people may have to study English is to ensure his future and his economic and social status, improving the economic situation by better salary or promotion in employment by the acquisition of a foreign language. Especially now with the economic problems that exist in our country, the person who speak English will has more opportunities to get a job and improve their situation.

2 What is your personal opinion about attitude and motivation? I think that the motivation is a key to achieving any kind of learning. Throughout our lives we aim to achieve different goals, get us a driver's license, stop smoking, go to the gym to get in shape... everyday life is full of short term goals and long term goals. For this reason it is very important to note the attitude and motivation to learn a foreign language and know what factors influence the motivation of our students to improve their attitude towards their learning as a language teaching can be a very difficult task in the classroom if there are students unmotivated. However, if students are motivated they will show interest in activities, their self-efficacy will be high, they will endeavour to succeed in learning, they will persist in their activities and they will use effective learning strategies. Attitude is a variable, like motivation, that plays a very important role in the teaching and learning of foreign language since sometimes a bad predisposition may make that students leave completely the study of language. Motivation and attitude are closely related, depending on the degree of motivation, the student will have a better or worse attitude to the different tasks, the more important be a task for a student greater the motivation that he feels to pursue it and keep the effort required to do it correctly. For these reasons, teachers must know the aspects that develop motivation and keep in mind the tastes and needs of our students arousing interest and curiosity towards learning a foreign language, in short, we should make our students feel happy and enjoy learning English.
