What do Booster Club Activity Reps do? What does the Booster Club do? Last year RHS Boosters provided $78,000 by working together through fundraising, volunteering, and communicating with coaches/directors to support 27 activities, the Fine Arts, Athletics, Students, and Staff. Who should join? Parents, Guardians, Grandparents, Relatives, Neighbors, Alumni, School Staff Why become a Booster Member? You’ll be given the opportunity to maximize your involvement, ideas, and support of Roosevelt High School to improve your student’s experience. Attend monthly meetings: Join us the third Monday of every month at 530pm in the RHS Library

What do Booster Club Activity Reps do? 1)Attend Booster Club meetings & bring ideas 2)Communicate with Coach/Director & families 3)Work with your team of five activity reps 4)Celebrate success 5)Coordinate volunteers for President’s Bowl events 6)Promote membership to the RHS Booster Club 7)Plan for your successors

Attend Booster Club meetings a)Monthly meetings are held at 530pm on the third Thursday of each month at the RHS Library b) At least one representative of the activity must attend a minimum 10 of the 12 Booster Club monthly meetings- deduction of 10% for each month a rep is not in attendance if less than 10 months. c) Submit online activity report prior to the meeting d) Booster Reps are a voting representative

Communicate with Coach/Director a) Create and maintain an email list and send out information to families b) Share Booster Club information c) Share social media sites to increase communication d) Encourage attendance to Spirit & Social Committee events e) Assist in planning for Monthly Featured Activity e) DELIVER DIRECT & SPECIAL ALLOCATION REQUESTS TO FINANCE COMMITTEE

Coordinate volunteers for President’s Bowl events a) A predetermined number of volunteers from each activity need to be provided for the PB 5K, Football Game, and Basketball Tournament b) The Activity Rep is responsible for working with families to fill the assigned volunteer slots

Promote membership to the RHS Booster Club a) Work to increase membership and promote benefits of the Booster Club

Celebrate Successes a) Stay engaged in the Spirit Committee events and planning b) Work with the Celebration Committee to celebrate championships c) Engage in Social Committee events

Plan for your successor(s) a) Ensure freshmen through junior parent involvement to keep the Booster Club viable
