2 The Project (1) What is it? A set of new textbooks on international trade for postgraduate students Timeframe? Approximately three years Where is it to be done? The University of International Business and Economics

3 The Project (2) The rationale Undergraduates and postgraduates are currently sharing the same textbook though studying at different academic levels The target group Postgraduates majoring in international trade The purpose To provide a differentiated curriculum between undergraduates and postgraduates

4 Challenges Human Resources Limited number of staff Prescribed course within the whole university Differentiated teaching between the undergraduates and the postgraduates Institutional issues The curriculum for postgraduates requires to go into depth rather than being extensive, which may shift the focus from trade to legal issues Courses will be overlapping with those offered by other departments within the university

5 What to do? Field training on trade practices for the teaching staff Legal education for the teaching staff Cooperation and coordination with other departments within the university
