2 Classrooms Classrooms tend to differ slightly throughout the building but all of them follow the same general layout. There are instructions next to the teaching station of every classroom. Classroom Technologies: Computer Labs – Room 306 and 305. Computer for each student SMART Boards – A number of classrooms include SMART boards Promethean Boards – 2 classrooms include Promethean Boards. Room 122 and 304 Laptop connections – Every classroom includes some sort of connection for your laptop Confidence Monitors – Most rooms include an LCD display that you can project your slides to

6 Equipment Checkout 3 DAY CHECKOUT (Transcription pedals remain in the lab for 1 day checkout. Transcription laptop is a 2 day checkout) NO MORE THAN 4 CONSECUTIVE CHECKOUTS (12 DAYS TOTAL) Late returns incur $20.00 fee for each day beyond the due date Checkout Policy To checkout equipment, please come to KRH 210. You will be asked to fill out an Equipment Checkout Form and include your name, DU ID, email address, and phone number. The equipment must be returned to the Technology Team in KRH 210. Checkout/In Times Equipment can typically be checked out or checked back in during normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Summer Quarter) in KRH 210. For your own convenience, however, please contact the Technology Team at extension 1-3222 before going to KRH 210 to obtain or return equipment. This might save you time, in that you can confirm that someone is there and that the equipment you want is available. Equipment Inventory and Replacement Failure to return equipment or failure to pay for damages to equipment can result in a withholding of your diploma until the matter is settled.

9 DU WiFi Connection Any DU student, staff, of faculty member can access a wireless internet connection on their laptop Connect to DU WiFi from the list of available wireless networks Open a web-browser (if one does not automatically open) You will be redirected to the DU WiFi splash page If the page does not appear automatically, try loading a page outside the DU domain (e.g. Google.com) Select ‘Guest’ for 24 hour access Accept the terms of use Select ‘General Use’ to authenticate the connection long-term When prompted login with (firstname.lastname@du.edu) username and Pioneerweb passwordfirstname.lastname@du.edu
