3 MUSCLES They are soft and are under the skin. They can contract and relax. The biceps and the gluteus are muscles

4 JOINTS They are the place where bones join together. The elbow and knee are joints.They are the place where bones join together. The elbow and knee are joints.

5 THE SKELETON THE FUNCTIONS OF THE SKELETON THE FUNCTIONS OF THE SKELETON - It holds up our body, like the bones in the spine. - It protects the most delicate parts of our body, like the ribs. - It helps move our body.

6 THE SKELETON SOME BONES OF THE SKELETON SOME BONES OF THE SKELETON - Our head has the bones of the skull like the frontal bone, and the bones of the face, like nasal bones. - Our trunk has bones like the ribs and the vertebrae that form the spine. - Our limbs have bones like the ulna in the arm and the tibia in the leg.

7 JOINTS THERE ARE 3 TYPES THERE ARE 3 TYPES - Movable joints. They make important movements. (Shoulders) - Semi-movable joints. They make small movements. (Spine) - Fixed joints. They can´t move. (Skull)
