Introduction In 2015, ASEAN Community was formed Many mechanisms were in place to ensure that voices from multi stakeholders are taken into consideration in crafting the ASEAN 2025 Forging Ahead Forward. One of the channels is the 36 th ASEAN Inter- Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA 36) that took place in September 2015.

3. Objectives To describe the process of facilitation from the preparatory stage to the production of the final outcome report. To highlight the link between substantive matters within the documents and its input into the ASEAN Vision 2025. To illustrate the transformation of policy work into a policy paper within the Malaysian Research Assessment (MyRA) for universities.
