9. GMB Launches ASOS Campaign Thousands of workers at the online retail giant in Barnsley are exposed to draconian workplace conditions. Sub-standard working conditions at the site have led to a lack of health & safety, which has affected the health and well-being of our members. The company makes millions in profits.

11. Green Co - Sheffield

12. Green Co Campaign ‘18 months and still fighting for justice for sacked GMB reps from Green Co in Sheffield’ Jim Rodgers & Gordon Parkes were sacked by Green Co, a refuse contractor in Sheffield, for standing up against bad working practices and bullying.

14. Green Co Campaign The dispute was long and drawn out and the courage our members and their families showed was a credit to them. The campaign for justice launched by GMB and political pressure resulted in the Green Co contract with Sheffield City Council being terminated…

16. Foster Carers

Foster Carers’ Campaign GMB was approached by a group of foster carers in Leeds who needed our support when the local authority began to attack their terms and conditions as part of a cost-saving exercise. Successfully winning the fight in Leeds, word spread and soon foster carers from Kirklees, Bradford and Calderdale joined GMB... …and now we’re going National
