United Nations Development Program, India Slide 5 of 28 Thrust areas – Health, Literacy, Environment and Disaster Management (DM) National Service Scheme (NSS) and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) support disaster relief and rehabilitation work in affected areas During natural disasters in various parts of India NSS efforts in rescue, relief and rehabilitation have been appreciated In many parts of India shelters for shelterless have been constructed NSS & NYKS in Disaster Management
