4. The word lesbian comes from the Greek Island of Lesbos, where the poet Sappho lived in 600 B.C. Sappho was an intellectual and poet who wrote many love poems to other women. few poems of Sappho that remain speak clearly to her love and infatuation with women. It is unclear when the word "lesbian" was first used to describe women who love other women, but the first usage can be traced back to the 1800s. It came into popular use in the lesbian feminist era of the 1960s and 1970s.

5. Tibo or tomboy has a derogatory function, and refers to lesbians,lesbians - butch and masculine type. -"Magic" is a term used by some lesbians to refer to themselves -"Shunggril". 12. Some use gays as a humor. Ex. They made this picture to show that Piolo pascual and Sam Milby are gay. They renamed them as “samantha and papa piolo”.

15. THIS IS ALSO A PART OF THE FAMILY TRADITIONS. THAT EVEN IN TIMES OF PROBLEMS, THEY MAKE SOLUTIONS BY LAUGHING. SOME SAY LAUGHING IS AN EXPRESSION OR A WAY OF SYMPHATEZISING TO OTHERS. WE LAUGH TO SHOW THAT WE CARE,

19. FILIPINO SIBLINGS ARE USUALLY FIGHTUNG BUT THIS IS NOT A REALLY SERIOUS THING THEY ARGUE ABOUT BORROWING CLOTHES, BETTER LOOKING PERSON.. THEY ARGUE ABOUT THE GIRL THEY WANT OR EVEN ON THEIR OPINIONS. BUT EVEN THOUGH THIS USUALLY HAPPENING. BROTHERS ARE REALLY BROTHERS AND BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER. WE ARE CONSIDERED SELFISH AND PRIDEFUL BY OUR NATURE BUT WHEN IT COMES TO BEING A FILIPINO FAMILY, WE ARE DIFFERENT. WE STAND BY OUR FAMILY NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS.

20. Ex. THE BARRETTO SISTERS Though they had a feud againts gretchen for many years, when their sisters are in need, they come together as one. Fighting for each others dignity.

22. FILIPINOS RESPECT THE ELDERLY VERY MUCH THAT IN TIMES WHEN THEY ARGUE ON SOMETHING, THEY DECIDE TO ASK FOR THE HELP OF THE ELDERLY, THEY CONSIDER THEM THE WISEST BECAUSE OF THEIR LONG EXPERIENCE IN LIFE. THIS IS DUE TO RESPECT.

23. EX. Filipinos still consider their parents/ grandparent’s stand on an issue in the family. They do not by pass the opinions of the elderly just because they are old. The tradition believes that they tend to know the best among the issue.
