Class Teachers and other helpers Mrs. Pratt will teach the class on Mondays and Tuesdays. Mrs. Moran will teach the class from Wednesday to Friday. Mrs. Milburn, Mrs Bedford and Mrs Z. will be in most days to support in class.

Uniform * Please make sure that all your child’s clothes and belongings are named. * The children can wear either their summer or winter uniform until October half term but after this time they must be in winter uniform. * We would appreciate your support in ensuring the children wear their correct school uniform as outlined on the school website. * No jewellery of any kind should be worn, including earrings. * Children should wear suitable school shoes at all times – no trainers.

P.E * The children will have a P.E lessons on Thursdays and Fridays. * Please leave P.E kits in school for half a term. We will send them home earlier if they get muddy! Indoor P.E Uniform – Blue shorts, blue St. Alban’s t- shirt, pumps. Outdoor P.E Uniform - Blue St. Alban’s t-shirt, dark tracksuit, trainers and spare socks.

Reading and Homework Expectations In Year 3-4, it is expected that your child should read for 20 minutes every day. This is from their guided group reading book, from the class library, Macclesfield library and/or a book from home. We would be grateful if you would sign their logbook after they have read. Your child will receive the following homework: Spellings on a Monday Maths on a Friday Guided Group Reading on their Guided Reading day (a set day each week) Guided Reading homework needs to be returned on the day prior to our child’s set day. Your child will receive a spelling test on a Monday.

Assembly and Trips AUTUMN TERM Class Assembly performance Hazel – Mrs Moran/Mrs Pratt – Friday 9 th October 2015 Y3&4 Stone-age workshops (a letter will be sent very soon) Y3&4 “Robin Hood and Marion” The New Vic Theatre Trip – Tuesday, 1st December 2015 (letter to follow). SPRING TERM Y4 Delamere Residential Trip – February 2016 (approximate cost to be confirmed asap). SUMMER TERM – Trip to be confirmed.
