4. Uniform * Please make sure that all your child’s clothes and belongings are named. * The children can wear either their summer or winter uniform until October half term but after this time they must be in winter uniform. * We would appreciate your support in ensuring the children wear their correct school uniform as outlined on the school website. * No jewellery of any kind should be worn, including earrings. * Children should wear suitable school shoes at all times – no trainers.

5. P.E * The children will have a P.E lessons on Thursdays and Fridays. * Please leave P.E kits in school for half a term. We will send them home earlier if they get muddy! Indoor P.E Uniform – Blue shorts, blue St. Alban’s t- shirt, pumps. Outdoor P.E Uniform - Blue St. Alban’s t-shirt, dark tracksuit, trainers and spare socks.

7. Jigsaw Curriculum Overview The jigsaw curriculum overview will be updated half termly on the class page. (insert jigsaw overview)

8. Reading and Homework Expectations In Year 3-4, it is expected that your child should read for 20 minutes every day. This is from their guided group reading book, from the class library, Macclesfield library and/or a book from home. We would be grateful if you would sign their logbook after they have read. Your child will receive the following homework: Spellings on a Monday Maths on a Friday Guided Group Reading on their Guided Reading day (a set day each week) Guided Reading homework needs to be returned on the day prior to our child’s set day. Your child will receive a spelling test on a Monday.
