3. Enable Advanced Configuration Go to Video > Camera > Profile Settings > change profile to “User Define”, then enter “Advance to configure camera”.

4. Cameras response to day and night modes (day-night- Auto) Method 1: Select Day mode if lights always on to prevent it enter night mode. Method 2: Use Schedule to make schedule with lights off time.

5. Levels of IR led when to be activated When night mode enabled, IR LED will be activated. IR Smart Settings: Select ON and set up the level to enhance the image quality when the images are over exposure. This function is useful when the camera is in the Night mode.

6. How to utilize WDR functionality WDR Settings: The Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function provides clearer images when both of the very bright and dark areas simultaneously appear on the camera view. There are four value options: OFF, Low, Middle and High. Note that when WDR is ON, some parts of the image may appear solarized. This is normal for WDR, and is not a camera malfunction. Recommend adjust Brightness, Black Level and Contrast to get balance performance.

7. Image Quality enhancement Method 1: Adjust current Bit Rate to higher, like High to Highest. Method 2: Disable WDR, AGC function to reduce noises Method 3: Visibility Enhancement: (OFF/Low/Middle/High) Images in foggy or rain environments or in environments with a very strong luminous intensity have a dynamic range that is significantly lower than ordinary images. The user can use this Visibility Enhancement setting to “DEFOG” the image if such “FOGGING” is an issue. Method 4: Adjust Monitor Gamma level

8. Image colors to be always showing (no colors many cameras) Method 1: Select Day mode if lights always on to prevent it enter night mode. Method 2: Use Schedule to make schedule with lights off time.

9. Any close light will affect the cameras picture Quality very bad Method: Adjust IRIS level to prevent high light affect video quality. Before After

10. Dark Pictures suddenly Method 1: Set Exposure Settings (AE) to ALC(Shutter Priority) and set Shutter to 1/50. Method 2: Set AGC to off Method 3: Provide video clip for EverFocus FAE for further analysis

11. Ability to Auto focus these cameras This ability already implement to EHN/EZN 3261 series. Current vari-focal lens support manually adjust only.

12. Face identifications is very bad Method 1: Adjust current Bit Rate to higher, like High to Highest. Method 2: Disable WDR, AGC function to reduce noises Method 3: Image size will affect face identification result, please adjust zoom to far to get clear face image picture. Face ratio size recommend 1/5 or larger.

13. Noise in pictures Adjust Noise Reduction Settings: This limits the amount of digital “video noise” that is usually found in any video stream, and helps to reduce file size. The higher the level, the more the reduction. 2D DNR: Select ON to enable the 2D DNR function. 3D DNR: Select ON to enable the 3D DNR function. You can further set up the following settings. 3D Start AGC: Set up the AGC level to automatically start the 3D NR function. 3D End AGC: Set up the AGC level to automatically stop the 3D NR function. 3D Level: Set up the 3D DNR level. Smart NR: Select ON to enable the Smart NR function. The 3D NR function will be automatically turned on when a motion event occurs. Set AGC off
