9. INTERVIEW FOLLOW UP Follow Up After an Interview Always follow up after an interview by sending a note or an e-mail to thank the interviewer for his or her time. Below are some tips of how to do this. Follow Up Tips The message should be short. It should be addressed to the person who interviewed you at his or her work address. It should thank the interviewer for the time spent with you and for the opportunity to learn more about the job that is available. If appropriate, you might say "I particularly enjoyed..." and refer to some part of the interview. The message could end with "I look forward to hearing from you in the near future." Sign it "Sincerely," with your name.
