16 www.uni-stuttgart.de Universitätsbibliothek Stuttgart: OA-Policies Projekt 01.09.2010 Spiecker EZB: SHERPA/RoMEO data Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothe(EZB) the EZB provides information about the access to journals e.g. at a universtity library (red, yellow or green light) and further information about the journals at their publishers, next to that information a service button was integrated to supply open access information from the SHERPA/RoMEO database (see on left side)

17 www.uni-stuttgart.de Universitätsbibliothek Stuttgart: OA-Policies Projekt 01.09.2010 Spiecker SHERPA/RoMEO deutsch: some remarks Cooperation with Nottingham works very well SHERPA/RoMEO deutsch provides nearly the same information as SHERPRA/RoMEO (main differences: no information about founders, additional data from the EZB) Two APIs are used in Germany: – The English API is still used for Dini and OA Plattform websites (replacement of English to German phrases is done in Berlin – test ”german” API is used on the EZB website (German phrases directly provided from Nottingham) – Translation of phrases is done in Stuttgart (send to Berlin and Nottingham) Their is no funding for further development in Germany right know The Service of SHERPA/RoMEO deutsch is maintained by the University Library of Stuttgart and the Computer and Mediaservice of the Humboldt University at Berlin
