Ending Conflicts There are several methods of resolving conflicts between states and individuals. To simplify matters, we have reduced the methods to six key stages in a “Conflict Resolution Cycle” –Conflict Avoidance –Informal Discussion –Negotiation –Arbitration/Mediation –Adjudication (Litigation) –Violence
