5 Assaults reported last week. Middlesex Road: On 9/7 at 2100 hrs Vic was riding his scooter in the wrong direction on a one way street. SP confronted Vic by grabbing him and shouting for him to get out of the area. The suspect was placed under arrest. Assault

7 Burglary There was 1 Attepted Burglary reported last week. Walnut Street: On 9/3 at 1207 hrs, SP was observed looking into the residences windows and then standing at a side door with the screen door opened. When confronted, SP told neighbors he was working on the property and subsequently fled on a bike. Neighbors additionally saw SP looking into another residences garage window. SP was found in possession of burglary tools. The suspect was placed under arrest.

12 Package Theft There were 2 Package Thefts reported last week, both of which occurred at the same location.

13 MV Theft There were 0 MV Thefts reported last week.

14 Special Attention & Noteworthy Cases/Calls Noteworthy Incidents: Between 9/1 at 2145 hrs and 9/2 at 0941 hrs a locked scooter attached to a light pole on Harvard Street was stolen. Between 9/3 at 2200 hrs and 9/5 at 0830 hrs an unsecured scooter in the back lot on Parkway Road was stolen. Fraud: On 9/3 Vic received a call from a male indicating that her brother was involved in an accident and was being held hostage until Vic sends $15,000. Vic terminated the call when SP couldn’t provide Vics brother’s name. SP called from 617-584-1446. This is a common fraud call, please do not give any personal information.

15 Bike and Pedestrian Crashes There were 39 Bike or Pedestrian crashes in June/July/August. The following are the locations with the most Bike/Pedestrian crashes (which is two at each): Beacon St/Corey Rd Brookline Ave/Washington St Longwood Ave/Marshall St Beacon St/Washington St Harvard St/Coolidge St The Day of the week with the most Bike/Pedestrian crashes is Monday followed by Wednesday. The times of day with the greatest incidence of bike/pedestrian crashes is the 45 minute period between 0745-0830hr and the 45 minute period between 1745- 1830hrs.
