17 Tardy to Class, Early Dismissal, Bus Pass, Walker Pass, Bike Pass Tardy to School Students arriving to school after 7:50 are tardy to school. You need to sign in with the main office. The main office issues a late pass to Homeroom (HR). Students arriving to HR after the 7:50 bell, but have been in the building, will also be considered tardy to school. I will send you to the Guidance Office for a late pass to HR. Guidance will record tardiness. School consequences are issued…see discipline code in your agenda book. Tardy to Class This procedure is different from a student who is tardy to school…classroom consequences are issued for the first 3 tardies by the classroom teacher. On the 4th tardy to class, an office referral is made and office consequences are issued.

18 Early Dismissal and Passes Early Dismissal Notes from Parent / Guardian Parents must submit a note for early dismissal. The note is sent to the Guidance Office before the end of homeroom. Bus Pass – Walker Pass – Bike Pass Requests If you request a bus change (not permanent) to ride a bus home with a friend, you must have a parent note. During homeroom, bring your note to Guidance where a “bus pass” is written. You must pick up the “bus pass” on the way to lunch so they have it to give to the bus driver at dismissal time. You will not be allowed on a different bus without an official “bus pass” from Guidance! Students who are not “official walkers” may ONLY walk off school grounds if a parent note is provided. The note is sent to the AP’s office where a “walker pass” is written after note verification. Before leaving school, the student must pick up the pass in the AP’s office. Students who are not “official walkers” may only ride a bike to/from school if a parent note is provided. The note is sent to the AP’s office where a “bike pass” is written after note verification. Before leaving school, the student must pick up the pass in the AP’s office.
