2.  One hot summer day. My friend and I were having a general conversation. She complained about how lonely she was. She had no kids, no close family, nor a companion. I was the only thing close to either of these things. She went on asking about my job at the school. I told her about the lesson we are doing on computers. She asked why were computers such a big deal. She complained about what she thought to be negative aspects of computers. The first thing she mentioned was the cost of computers.

3.  I explained how there are various ways to get access to computers with or without spending lots of money. The library and internet café immediately came to my mind. She agreed and we kept talking. Then I explained to her how she could purchase a computer and make monthly payments. She was excited to hear this and planned to do just that. A few weeks later she invited me over for some sort of surprise. I walk in her front door and behold…….. computer.

4.  She sat down at the computer and begin telling me about all the fun she has been having. She is communicating with her distant family, taking some online classes and even dating someone she met online. I was happy for her.
