2 Scope of Accreditation DO WE NEED SCOPES ? History of CRBs performance says yes we do. CRB cannot demonstrate competence for “scope-less- ness” CRB would need to have internal classifications for auditors. AB has to confirm “boundary” of confirmed competence. Scopes must be flexible to meet CRB needs and market and allow for growth. Scopes do allow for confidence in CRB development. Reflect proven management performance/controls

3 Scope of Accreditation G.3.5.5. Accreditation for a scope element: –Demonstrate understanding of the sector –Administrative ability to manage audits in the part of the sector it decides to operate
