15. Research Since 1946, the American Cancer Society has invested more than $4.3 Billion dollars in cancer research alone –47 of these researchers have gone to get Nobel Prizes for their cancer research –Cancer rates have declined 22% since 1991 That means 1.5 MILLION lives saved!!

Much More than Just Research Support Services for New Cancer Patients –56,000 patients received help understanding their cancer diagnosis last year Transportation Services –Cancer patients received 341,001 rides to and from treatment last year Hope Lodge –Nearly 44,000 patients and caregivers saved $36 million in Lodging in 2014 Look Good Feel Better –In 2014, 35,000 women learned how to manage the appearance related affects of cancer and treatment
