2 Objectives for ESP Advanced Leadership Training Chapter leaders will: –Increase their knowledge in the function and use of the ESP website. –Increase understanding of how Chapters can use the website for Chapter membership recognition programs. –Increase knowledge of how chapter leadership can share success stories and learn from other successful chapters. –Become familiar with website resources available to assist them in their leadership role. –Review our current membership program for chapters and the national organization.

15 Membership – The Most Important Job of All Membership dues include –Updating Names, Addresses, Emails –Submitting the dues –Information must be accurate –Dues submission form Should match number of members and $ submitted Submit by February 1 to gain the most in delegates and member recognition Remember to submit updates as they occur.

16 Anytime Submissions Change in Chapter Leadership Additional dues renewals, new members, and life members Change of status…death, retirement, resignation Change of address, e-mail, name Re-location of members…in or out Orders for certificates/supplies

17 ESP Membership Change of status can be handled with an e-mail to the national ESP office at: espoffice@espnational.org. espoffice@espnational.org New members must be entered on the website with all required information with payment being mailed to the National Additional dues payments must include the payment and address information on the person renewing. IF there is an easier or better way – we want to know it! If there is we will do it!

18 ESP Chapter Recognition Certificates and Seals The Chapter Recognition Certificate Template is found on the ESP website under materials. National ESP Embossed Seals can be purchased at a cost $.50 with supply order Payment options include: check, credit card, or bill to the chapter. Priority postage is charged to the chapter on orders that are billed to the chapter.

19 Chapter Recognition Programs Apply Online –Chapter Reports Chapter of Merit (May 1) –Annually –Chapter Self-Assessment and designation –Every chapter recognized Achievement in Chapter Membership Recognition (May 1) –Recognizes top chapters with preference to one per region –Annually –Chapter Self-Assessment combined with review of Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee –$25 ESP Merchandise Certificate presented at National ESP Conference

21 Chapter of Merit Standards Platinum Standard: Over 40 points Gold Standard: 35 - 40 points Silver Standard:28 – 34 points Bronze Standard: 20 – 27 points

22 ESP Achievement in Chapter Membership Recognizes growth in membership, including new annual and life members. Recognizes retention of current annual members. Encourages systematic efforts to inform all potential members about membership opportunities.
