4. Description Sure, your future home will be different from today's homes. The exceptional difference will be on the way of sharing devices, programs and technology in the home. This course is your first step to the telecommunication industry. It provides you with basic understanding of networking in general. Subjects to be discussed include circuits and networks, telephony, PCs, Internet, firewalls and routers, LANs, modems, and building a network at home. You will learn how various networks and devices work. By the end of the course, you will be able to choose the network technology that suits your needs.
