3. There once lived a donkey on a merry hillside with his mother and father. Presently, this donkey named Sylvester decided to go on an adventurous hike and left his family at home. In spite of a sudden downpour, Sylvester struggled onward. Where is Sylvester?

4. Why, it’s a beautiful fiery, red pebble! This will be a perfect addition to my already stirring collection! Pushing steadily through the rain, Sylvester spotted something on the ground.

5. This newfound pebble, was the apple of Sylvester’s eye, and it filled him with a sudden sense of glee. However, his overwhelming desire for the rain to cease continued to depress him. Oh, darn you rain! Why do you choose to pour now on my hike? I WISH you would just stop!

6. Suddenly, the rain stopped and bursts of sunlight drained through the clouds, and gave the pebble a sparkle that illuminated the entire valley. H-h-h-how is this possible?!? This shining, red pebble must contain magical powers!

7. Unfortunately, while Sylvester walked around aimlessly, he stumbled upon an unfriendly, and hungry face. With my newfound pebble, my life’s possibilities are endless! Anything I could ever want is in the palm of my hand!

8. Oh MY Gosh!!! Someone scratched my pebble!!!! AND a hungry Lion!!!! Sylvester was now looking straight into the eyes of a fierce lion, whose teeth were glistening directly at Sylvester. Well now, what is a little donkey like you doing wondering around by yourself? You could get lost… or worse…

9. Sylvester’s mind raced like a starving cat after a terrified mouse. The donkey deliberated on any possible exit strategy. I will show you lion! I will wish to be a rock to foil your plans of eating me!

10. BAM! Sylvester started to morph into a rock. However, his new appearance put him out of contact with his pebble, keeping him in his rock-like formation. Oh golly! I will be a rock for 1 billion years! If only someone would place the pebble on the surface of me so I could wish myself back! Oh darn what is happening to my lunch??

11. Where is my baby? He has never been out this late before! Filled with concern, Mother and Father stared out the window searching for their lost child.

12. Set on a mission, mother and father awoke the next morning and visited each neighbor to ask if they had seen there darling Sylvester. Since Sylvester had been on a hike, they decided to search his trail intently…to no avail. Have you seen Sylvester? No, but we will help you search for him. I-I-I I do not know what you are talking about!!!! Where is he?!!!!

13. Honey, it has been a full year since our sons disappearance. Its time to move on. How about a nice picnic? Mother and Father spotted a perfect rock to eat their meal. Perfect because Of the pebble that lay beside it. Oh how It reminded them of their son Sylvester!

14. So, Sylvester remained cozy with his mom and dad. Outside a dove fluttered by. A perfect ending to a perfect day. As mother placed the pebble on the back of the rock, Sylvester wished himself back to normal.
