2. The MWI Cycling Club is hosting the Idaho Poker Ride Pedal for Paws and Claws event to solely benefit Canyon County Animal Shelter in Caldwell and Simply Cat’s Adoption Center in Boise. These two shelters were nominated by our Foundation Committee based on their non-profit status and the fact that they survive on donations and good will alone, as well as both are committed to being no-kill shelters. Our event will attract 300-400 cyclists and we are funded solely by sponsorships, all registration fees and profit from merchandise sales will be given to our charities 100% MWI Cycling Club is a non-profit corporation founded on March 5 th 2013 and is open to all of the Treasure Valley, our mission is to teach beginner road cycling, safety and raising awareness with sharing the road with motorists and cyclists. As well as having a fun cycling event annually to benefit our furry friends in the community.

3. Event Details We have 4 routes for riders to choose from 15, 30, 60 & 80 Miles all located throughout Boise, ID Our event will start and return from MWI Veterinary Supply located at 3041 W. Pasadena Dr. Boise, ID which is a privately owned facility with ample parking and event space for all riders and volunteers. There are no spectators at this event. We will have no alcohol at this event and no food vendors We have a licensed caterer Sinatra Catering that will be donating his time and equipment to prepare donated food for our riders after they have completed their routes. The parking lot will be tented in areas, with no sides and nothing larger than a 15x15 tent. Routes approved by IDT, BPD, ACHD, and we have our permit from Idaho Department of Transportation. Boise Police Department will be assisting the riders over the Vista overpass and across Orchard and following riders throughout the day as needed. All riders will be obeying all traffic laws. No roads will be closed or blocked Home Base has trash bins and recycling bins, rest stops will have cardboard receptacles from waste company and be returned to home base.
