Background Information Think about your question: – What have we learned about forces that will help you understand what might happen when you modify the rocket? – What have we learned that leads you to believe that the change you will make to the rocket will change how high the rocket will fly? Work with your team to develop these ideas Make sure everyone has recorded all your background information in their journals

4. Procedure 1.Follow the instructions we used for our first rocket to build 3 rockets but change the IV in each of these. 2.Build each rocket exactly the same, except for your change. You might want to create an assembly line in your group so that you can be sure that each part of each rocket is identical. 3.Describe in writing and drawings with measurements how you will change your IV. 4.You will launch each rocket 3 times and measure the maximum height. (More on that next class) 5.Set up a data table that is correctly organized, has space for 3 trials and an average maximum height.
