QEHS PRESENTATION 19 th AUGUST 2014

AGENDA: QEHS overview/introduction QA/QC- Report Training/Engineering- Report QEHS- Summary QEHS 19 TH AUGUST 2014

There has been significant work done on bringing together all the BU’s across the region with regards to QEHS. This has shown a positive outcome on such things as: a)Implementation of Corporate Management Procedures. b)Reporting of Accident/Incidents INTRODUCTION

There is now regular reporting of TBT and WPI’s. QA/QC have forged ahead with certification for Oman, and achieved the accreditation. Training & Engineering. We now have some new additions to the team: 1 new Trainer and 2 new Lifting Engineers.

Overall Accidents/Incidents were down to a minimum, due partly to refresher training and the use of subject TBT’s. There is however, a rise in damage to wire ropes, which will be controlled by in depth TBT and Refresher Training. Corporate TBT’s are ongoing, with a separate monthly TBT on a chosen subject each month. Accident/Incident & TBT

WPI;s The WPI’s are ongoing, but are still well below the required 80%. This is being addressed and all Management are conscious of this. With most Senior Management on site at least once a month, this has been highlighted as the ideal time to get the WPI done.

Customer Satisfaction This has been a stumbling block for all BU’s across the region. The reason is different for each BU. For example in Saudi Arabia the distance is a major factor for getting the Time Sheets back to the office. They are arriving at least 2 weeks after the required submission time.

QEHS KPI’s

There is obviously still a long way to go, but with the use of the information we can action items against the BU concerned. The trend is moving upward and shows the commitment, from Senior Management down, to ensure that by the end of 2014 we will have achieved our KPI goals.
